Finding a good designer is a critical step, unique to you and your project. We know this can be a daunting task and it can be difficult to know where to start!

What is Design for Me?

Design For Me is a platform that helps you find a great designer who is the right fit for your residential project. We matchmake you with suitable candidates based on your location, project type and size. Whether you need to find an architect, interior designer or a garden designer we put you in touch with up to three suitable and interested designers to meet. It’s a quick and simple process:

1. Post your project.

Don’t worry, we don’t need much information from you at this stage. We’ll create your brief by asking for your project type (e.g. extension, self-build, renovation, loft conversion), postcode and a rough budget. You can also give your preferences for the designers’ expertise, experience and location. We have a range of designers on the website from registered architects to ‘architectural designers’/technicians and students. You’ll also get the chance to upload pictures.

2. Get matched.

Once your project is posted, it is automatically matched with 100s of designers. The level of compatibility is shown by the % score. You can then choose the ones you like by looking at pictures of their work and testimonials from past clients. Shortlist as many as you like! This prompts them to show interest back.

3. Pick your favourites.

You can then invite up to three interested designers for a consultation, which can be arranged through the website. The consultations are an opportunity to discuss your needs in more detail, see how you get on, and get quotations. This is when you can finally choose the perfect match for your home project.
