Jonathan is a director at our creative design studio based in East London. We believe that great design comes through collaborative engagement. Across a range of innovative outputs, from bespoke door handles and furniture, to the design of interior spaces and buildings, we aim to demonstrate the positive impacts good design can have; not only on the way we live but also on the way we interact with each other and the world around us. In order to achieve this we draw from our experiences within the architecture profession and the belief that the best results are borne through teamwork. We involve clients and users from the outset; we listen and are open to new situations and concepts. As a studio we aim to work ethically and sustainably and to take the time to learn and help nurture others along the way. Our design output is wide and mirrors our ambition. We have delivered award-winning designs both in the UK and abroad and our projects have been featured in numerous international publications and exhibitions.

[Jonathan's practice] provided my business with high quality, detailed, accurate and researched drawings, statements and documentations for the refurbishment of a retail premise that was primarily used as a plumbing supplies warehouse, into a public use bookshop with cafe space. It has been a pleasure to work with [them] and see their ability to transform my ideas into tangible space configurations that will meet all the requirements I have for the business - particularly as this is a multiple use space acting as a bookshop, cafe and community events centre. [Their work] is meticulous - every detail is considered both from a practical, cost effective and compliance angle while at the same time ensuring that the overall aesthetic is not compromised and that the space remains above all, highly functional with an eye to the end result, which is a deep sense of wellbeing for those who will use it. This has been very important to me as the bookshop will have multiple users of all ages from across the local community.

[Jonathan's practice] was recommended to me by a local estate agent who had seen previous examples of their work. I was looking for designer who could not only give ideas on how I could reconfigure my flat, but also a team who could take me through the whole process from design, building permissions, selection of contractors and also project management of the works. [They] did not disappoint: they suggested some very clever room layouts which maximised all the space available. The flat is now much lighter and spacious than before. The attention to design detail was excellent throughout the build, and [they] were careful to take all my views on board. I now have a high-spec contemporary flat that perfectly meets my needs. I'm in no doubt I could not have achieved this without [Jonathan's practice] and I would thoroughly recommend them on similar projects."
