Francis is the dream architect! We recently had a complete home renovation done, complete with a specialised loft extension, and Francis provided a detailed and flexible road map for the whole journey. His attention to detail and technical knowledge together with a great ability to truly listen to what the client wants and then turn it into a feasible reality were impressive. I can't recommend him highly enough! In fact, we do recommend him to friends quite regularly!

When we bought our house, we had the pleasure of hiring Francis' practice to design and oversee its renovation. Their personal attention and professional skills were able to satisfy my preference for functionality and my wife's sense of aesthetics, all while keeping an eye on our budget and our schedule. The bookshelves built into the walls give us more floor space than just putting in free standing bookcases. The bathrooms have a recessed area for the radiators, protecting our kids from accidental burns while simultaneously providing a nice ledge above them. One of our builders said that he would never have designed it this way since urban space is such a commodity. Having lived with it though, I find that I am more grateful to have the extra ledge space. With things less cluttered in the bathroom, we're less likely to knock things over onto the floor when getting things or putting them back. Francis' practice also turned what would have been an otherwise unremarkable crawlspace into ingenious closets that blend into the wall. They were with us and made things easier for us every step of the way, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. Francis' practice made our new house into our new home.

I feel very fortunate to have come across Francis. I had initially asked him for a shelf to store my plants for more sunlight. The level of care and thoughtfulness which he dedicated to help me exceeded my expectations. What started out merely as a space for my plants has turned into an entire indoor-outdoor experience that has been great for socializing with loads of storage space for all my gardening equipment! From the initial excitement of the concept sketches through to the nitty gritty realities of the construction, Francis looked after the whole process and kept it as worry-free as possible. He helped me do this all on a modest budget – proof that good design is not just about how much money you spend. My plants have since been doing very well and I’ve received many compliments on the new space. I will definitely be using him again for future projects!
