We used Giles for a whole house refurbishment. His designs were excellent and he suggested various options that other architects didn't consider. He was a pleasure to deal with and helped us manage the whole project from beginning to end. His fees were reasonable and his designs have made a real difference to our home.

We used Giles to design our large kitchen/dining extension. He came up with many ideas and a "look" to the project that far exceeded our own thoughts. He was happy to come for meetings with the dreaded Hounslow planners to get the drawings approved, and produced good computer visuals to show how the finished project would look. He was good at liaising with the builders during the work, and quick to attend impromptu meetings when things changed on site as they inevitably do! He was also amenable to making small alterations to the design when we changed our mind! His design was classic but modern and worked well with our Victorian house. It has definitely given the extension the much sought "wow factor"!

I purchased a plot of land about 2 years ago which had been originally sold off about 20 years ago with planning permission for a detached house. The previous owners let planning lapse and since then although a number of proposals have been submitted all had been rejected by Ealing planning. I engaged Giles' practice about a year ago after having previously engaged another architect who unsuccessfully put an application in to the planners. Giles came up with a new proposal that really worked with what was a difficult site, and planning permission was granted. I am still working with Giles and hope to begin the build in the next few weeks. I have found working with Giles' practice really exciting, and am really looking forward to the next few months as the build progresses.
