As a dedicated gardener from the age of six, Sam took inspiration from his grandfather who showed him the possibilities of a garden. After acquiring his own allotment, working at a plant nursery and as gardener, he realised the importance of landscapes to the functioning of a healthy human society and embarked upon a Degree and Masters in Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield. Since receiving honours of the highest award, Sam has worked for international design consultancies, as well as smaller practices in London. He has worked on projects such as The Wembley Park development, Battersea Power Station and Cambridge University. Sam has been involved at every stage of the design process from high level strategic masterplanning through to the delivery of smaller gardens and community spaces. He understands the influence of Art and culture on Landscape design, which elevate and enhance his designs. The result is unique, distinguished and dynamic landscape spaces.
