Hello and thank you for looking at my profile! My name is John and I am a chartered architect with over twenty years experience in the wonderful world of architecture, particularly in obtaining planning success for my clients.

My experience encompasses a wide range of project types, from one-off country houses to home extensions, cinemas to theatres, city masterplans to sea front strategies, renovating listed buildings for apartment use to converting former offices for student accommodation. The common thread for every project is the aim to create places that people will want to inhabit. I consider design to be an iterative and collaborative process, combining historical and contemporary study, artistic endeavour, holistic working and the consideration of current and future sustainability needs to produce quality schemes that are rigorous, legible and uplifting.
