We needed a creative solution to turn our home into a functional and flowing space for our growing family. We didn't have the space to extend further, but wanted to bring more light in, give the space a better flow and also to incorporate some storage. Natasha didn't even flinch at our modest budget and worked collaboratively to give us several design options to choose from. These ranged from a relatively inexpensive make-over to a more ambitious scheme involving a raised ceiling which we hadn't believed would be possible (and ultimately chose). Natasha dealt with preparing the planning application knowledgeably, putting forward a design that sailed through planning, then prepared tender package in a thorough and timely way.

Natasha was a total pleasure to work with throughout and ensured that the builder adhered to her design at each stage sometimes going outside of her brief to help us, as she was not fully managing the project. She chaired some tricky meetings with builders with authority and diplomacy which kept the project running efficiently.

Particularly now the summer has arrived the ability to flow from the house to the garden is great. It’s given us a communal space which we never had before where we spend time as a family. Cooking and eating are now central and communal where before the kitchen was just functional. We spend most of our home lives in this room now, that’s testament enough.”

“What were you looking for from a professional?” This was a bigger project than either of us have attempted and we knew it was always going to stretch us financially. We had a concept in mind for the house but wanted to engage a professional to: Help us to add as much value to the house as possible; Provide the experience and knowledge required to receive all permitting required from the council; Execute the tender process for us which was always going to be crucial given the size of the project vs our budget; Manage the project on our behalf and coordinate the services of all other professionals involved.
