I am an Architect with additional qualifications in Urban Design and the Conservation of Historic Buildings, and I have previously worked within both the private and public sector - gaining much experience of how to negotiate the planning system. At our practice based in Bath, I work with my co-Director, Julia. Operating out of our own converted and self-built studio and house, we are experienced in the design of one-off new-build houses, extensions and refurbishments for private clients. We seek challenging design work to do well, and as a husband and wife team establish close working relationships with our clients and an understanding of all family aspirations in a residential design project. We believe in a contextually responsive contemporary architecture, which forms its inherent character from the materials used. Being a small practice, our turnover is sufficiently low that we are not VAT registered and do not charge VAT on our fees.
