[Nicolas' practice] took on a very difficult brief to sympathetically, but radically modernise a grade 2 listed house. A building well known and loved within the area. Not only did they deliver on the brief, but the end result improves almost daily and has without doubt met with the approval of the community.

Whilst I have nothing but praise for the fundamental designs delivered, I actually believe that a critical component was their engagement post design and through the build process without which I think the end result would have been a disaster, despite fabulous drawings!

We engaged [Nicolas' practice] to undertake some major re-design work on our home after a careful selection process. We were initially attracted by their design flair, but finally chose them after meeting with Nicolas, who gave us great confidence in his creative vision and belief he could deliver something special for us and support us during the project.

[They] generated some creative solutions that responded well to our brief, including some exciting design features that we felt would be essential to achieving an exciting space for us to live in.

The firm also proved very helpful in guiding us through the design and project build process, holding our hands each step of the way, (as we were novices to such a major redesign project) . They helped research some money saving engineering solutions whilst maintaining an eye for details and finish and have patiently supported us throughout what turned out to be an unexpectedly long build process, due to planning and build difficulties.

Such talent and support comes at a bit of a premium, but in our case, it has turned out to be very valuable to us overall. There have inevitably been some areas of the project management detail that have proved challenging with [Nicholas' practice], but this is not unexpected in any such large project and we, as a demanding client, have no doubt been very challenging at times for them to work with too.

Overall, we'd highly recommend [Nicholas' practice] to anyone looking for a design partner to help them achieve a stunning, creative, quality, modern solution for their home improvement, or "Grand Design" dream.

We worked with [Nicolas' practice] on our project in Cyprus which was completed in October 2015. This was our first experience of building and we found them after a few false starts with other local architects. It was the best decision we made. They were creative, efficient, detailed, thorough and importantly for us, not overbearing. They listened intently to our lifestyle, requirements and issues and helped us through the entire process of planning, design, visiting and selecting suppliers, construction, liaison with our local contractors, choosing the final finishes, overseeing the work and the interior design. Given we were in Cyprus and they were in the UK (they did many site visits), it still worked very well and our local contractors couldn't speak highly enough of the quality of drawings and the support they received.

We absolutely love our new home and a big part of that is down to the excellent work by [Nicolas' Team].
