After making contact with Patrick he quickly visited our cottage to discuss our garage conversion. He very helpful providing advice and suggestions on how to take the project forward. We chose Patrick to be the architect for our project in 2019. Of all the architects we shortlisted, we felt that Patrick had the clearest understanding of the brief, producing a clear and detailed initial specification. Patrick’s further qualities became apparent throughout the planning and building process. This included helping us choose a suitable builder, submission of and adjustment to planning documentation, as well as close and regular liaison with us and the builder, both before, during and after completion of the build. Patrick’s friendly and adaptable attitude and his thorough attention to detail throughout helped smooth potential difficulties and ensure that we ended up with an end product with which we are delighted.

In our Zoom consultation, Patrick ran through ball-park costings for each stage of my initial proposal and indicated a range of possibilities and issues that I wasn’t aware of. This helped me better understand the feasibility (or not) of my ideas and alternatives for me to consider. The subsequent fee proposal was clear and comprehensive. Overall, the process was extremely helpful, and I would recommend his approach.
