I am a London-based architectural and interior designer specialising in bespoke interior design for private clients and developers in the UK and abroad.

I believe, there is a strong connection between architecture and human psychology. Places influence us in many ways – they shape our emotions, create a sense of belonging, they are also strongly linked to our memories and they influence how comfortable we feel. The human experience is the key driver of all my designs. Each project represents a unique brief that requires a unique approach. So understanding the site and the future users is always our first step and predetermines every other step in the design process; from the choice of materials and lighting to the final product specification. I'm convinced that good quality design is life-enhancing. Therefore I am trying to deliver it in every project I undertake and make the world a better (and nicer) place for people to live in.

Dagmar's design studio was very enthusiastic about the vision and story of Sandbox - it was out of the box thinking, they fully understood the vision and made it come alive with their own unique thoughts, not just in terms of design, but brand, techniques and even with flexible structures - which was over and beyond the brief. Our decision to work with [Dagmar's studio] on our office refurbishment project was based on good recommendations from their previous clients. At the beginning of the project, we were looking for a common language for a while as the black & white concept presented by [Dagmar's studio] was a bit of a shock to us!
