I hold a first class degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Leeds where I learnt about the practical structural and building services challenges behind modern architectural design. This is combined with a number of years of draughting experience between 2008 and today.
As a former Councillor and member of the planning committee on Norwich City Council, I also have an in-depth knowledge of the planning system.
Along with my colleague Nicholas, I specialise in extensions to and remodelling of existing, often historic, buildings, but also do some historically inspired new build too.
I am inspired by architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Edwin Lutyens and George Skipper, all of whom put a great emphasis on attention to detail in their buildings. We are frequently asked to design staircases, windows, doorcases and kitchen joinery to give our clients a unified feel to their house.
