Heidi was prompt in responses, and excellent through the consultation period. We decided to go a different way this time but I would definitely recommend Heidi to others for future projects. She was interested in our needs, considered a variety of solutions and provided a detailed quote with all possible options.
We were keen to achieve a lot with our limited budget, and Heidi was great at working within our limits. She helped us to make sensible decisions about where to use the budget, while still allowing for plenty of "architectural" details, such as the kitchen window seat incorporating built-in bookshelves and the generous windows that maximise the light throughout the north facing extension. We've spent three lovely years in the house since its completion. It's offered us the flexible space we need for our family, with plenty of room to grow. And the enjoyment we get from those thoughtful design details - especially the big kitchen windows and the views they offer through to the garden - never gets old!
Our formerly dingy, shadowy kitchen was transformed into a huge open space, filled with light. It's perfect for entertaining all our friends and now that it's connected to the living room, we don't have to shout as loud to get our kids to come and sit at the table for dinner! We had a very good consultation with Heidi regarding a proposed side return to our terraced house. Heidi had done a lot of preparatory work for the meeting, listened carefully to what we wanted, was very knowledgeable and has clearly had a lot of experience with this type of work. She was friendly and approachable and I would definitely recommend her.
