EACH AND EVERY CLIENT IS DIFFERENT; AND SO, TOO, IS EACH AND EVERY BUILDING, AND EACH AND EVERY SPACE. DESIGNS THEREFORE DIFFER MARKEDLY FROM ONE ANOTHER. Olivia did a fantastic job of our Islington House, we are so delighted to have a place that now feels like home. It was previously a house with 2 large bedrooms + study with awkward living spaces that were dark and uninviting. She was very clever in understanding the space, through extending out she has given us a 3 large bedroom house with open plan living room and kitchen with enormous amount of light, the huge full width glass doors also means that the the garden feels like part of our living space. As well as designing the architectural aspects of the house we asked her to act as interior designer and helped us choose paint colours, designing bespoke head boards, finding vintage chairs and reupholstered them for us. She has now become a very close friend and someone I really value the opinion of.
CAROLINE, REAR EXTENSION AND FULL REFURBISHMENT OF HOUSE IN ISLINGTON
Olivia was the Architect on the renovation of our 5 storey house in Notting Hill. She designed our rear extension, loft conversation and full refurbishment. She is well connected so was able to organise fantastic builders as well as the rest of the project team. She is conscious of costs which was a relief for me. The house needed a face lift and my wife and I wanted to put our own stamp on it as a couple which was a fun task for Olivia as my wife and I have sometimes very conflicting ideas. Olivia was able to help navigate us through the options and we now have an incredible family home.
MR FITZIMONS, REAR EXTENSION + LOFT CONVERSION AND FULL HOUSE REFURBISHMENT, Notting Hill
We were recommended Olivia by a friend, she designed their house in London which we were really impressed by. Olivia is currently designing our new build 5 bedroom house in Mallorca for us. We have been really impressed with how she understands the local restrictions and has challenged them to design a house that is both acceptable to the local planning authority and a house that we have always dreamed of.
The form of the house is currently taking place, they have poured the concrete foundations and starting to erect the external walls so we can see the house taking place which is an exciting process to see.
As well as the Architect on the project we have asked Olivia to provide interior design services as we feel its important for the interior language of the property to reflect the design of the architecture. Her style is very tactile, using natural materials and a consistent palette throughout the house, this is an aesthetic we love.
