I am a freelance Architectural designer with 20+ years experience in the construction industry, mainly in domestic residential. I am Chartered Professional with the CIOB. I really enjoy both the design process and construction stages of projects seeing the designs come to life. One of my key strengths is communicating between clients and construction professionals helping the client to understand the process and terminology and also relaying the clients desires to the contractors to achieve the desired result. My earlier working background was more in the construction side of the industry which places me well to supervise and oversee the construction phase of the process. Located on a flood plain and in the middle of farmland the house design had to comply with a number of planning requirements which [they] accommodated in the design and negotiated with the planning authorities leading to a successful application approved in the minimum of time.
