My name is Hunter and I have more than a decade of experience in architecture and building in Oxford. I provide sustainable residential architectural services in Oxford & Oxfordshire.
I was born in Oxford in a creative home, of an architect father and an art teacher mother. I have worked as an architectural designer in various offices and freelance. I also have over 5 years of on-site general building experience, which has given me a great depth of knowledge of the raw building process.
I aim to create spaces that enhance the quality of life of those who spend their days there. I acknowledge that human beings are part of the natural world so we endeavour to integrate this idea into our architectural creations and practices to help people stay connected to nature.
“My vision is to help individuals, communities and organisations build sustainable, connected buildings & landscapes, helping people stay connected to the natural environment and live as healthy humans. I believe in a cradle to cradle approach to specification with the use of materials and methods that minimise harm; from production to demolition of the structure with re-use, recycling and healthy decomposition in mind.”
My qualifications: BA (Hons) Architecture (Part 1 RIBA/ARB) Professional Diploma in Architecture (Part 2 ARB): Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies at the Centre for Alternative Technology. Oxford AECB Group Leader
