I am passionate about creating homes that are beautiful, respond to their context, and are sustainable – ones that people will love using for generations to come. My expertise lies in designing traditional houses, extensions, conversions, and refurbishments, frequently involving a conservation context. I respond to my client’s brief by drawing on vernacular or classical precedents to produce buildings and spaces that are legible, well-crafted, and work for contemporary living. My expertise and interest lies in designing traditional homes - this includes new-build houses, extensions and interiors. I am used to working with period properties, including listed houses, and dealing with conservation issues. I am a chartered architect with 30 years experience and have my own chartered practice in Bath.
