I'm Jonathan. I’m a UK-based award-winning architect (and self-builder) with a passionate interest in the relationship between architecture, landscape and the natural world. My own self-build timber-framed, wild meadow-roofed house in South London was shortlisted for both House of the Year and the Stephen Lawrence Prize, and received a Civic Trust Award in 2021. I am a founding director of a London-based RIBA Chartered practice with a strong track record in unlocking complex, historically or ecologically sensitive urban and rural sites to deliver poetic but practical, well-crafted buildings that elevate everyday experience. We design simultaneously from the inside out and the outside in, developing a close, bespoke working relationship with all of our clients.

Expertise

Sustainable design, Joinery design, Extensions, Planning applications, Re-planning / Internal alterations, New builds, Accessible design

I know he's going to cringe when I say this, but Jonathan has been amazing! The design process has been a joy to watch, how concepts and ideas evolve and take form. The malleability of design to feedback and the process, has been truly impressive. Communication has been a cornerstone to the success of the project and our working relationship.
