The headteacher of a school in London was looking for a complete interior re-design of her office. After posting her project to Design for Me we matched her with the best candidates and she received interest from a number of interior designers.
Head Mistress’ Office – Interior Designer
I become Head Mistress of a school in Highgate in September. I have a budget to completely refurbish the office, including all the furniture and soft furnishings.
We will have assistance from the school’s maintenance team in painting and installing the chosen look. I am keen to create a light and airy space with a country house feel.
Through Design for Me, the client narrowed down her search and ultimately found the perfect fit for her project in interior designers Deborah & Caroline:

We have designed a confident, professional yet relaxed space by energising a calm colour palette with pops of colour and pattern.

We found an antique desk with leather inlay, a beautiful heritage piece which gives a gravitas and authenticity to the scheme. A touch of brushed brass also gives a heritage feel as well as a lovely accent to the scheme.
We re-upholstered a chair our client already has in this striking fabric to make it a real centrepiece to the scheme.

Caroline and I struck up a good rapport from the start, which gave me confidence that she understood me and my style as well as the constraints of my project. I am delighted that I have gone with her to design my new office.
