Planning a new kitchen? You could just get a few supplier brochures and say “I want that one!”. Fine, if you want un-inspiring, run-of-the mill jobbie. But, like most things worthwhile, planning your perfect kitchen takes time, consideration and a little bit of inspiration (which is where we can help!)
Function first
Kitchen design should be all about making your living, cooking and dining experience more enjoyable. It’s very personal to you, so ask yourself: do you need lots of space for cooking? or just a few square metres to make a morning coffee (and a microwave!) How much time do you spend in your kitchen as a family?
Then aesthetics
You also want your kitchen to look fabulous, right? Do you want it to be the feature of the room? Or to recede back, allowing the rest of your living/dining space to do the talking? Colour, texture and detailing need careful consideration to achieve something that is bespoke to you.
